How the math works

Reconstitution is three divisions, done in the right order. The amount of peptide in the vial divided by the water you add gives the concentration — how much peptide sits in each millilitre. Your dose divided by that concentration gives the volume to inject. And because insulin syringes are marked in U-100 units, where 100 units = 1 mL, multiplying that volume by 100 gives the number on the barrel.

Worked example: a 5 mg vial of BPC-157 with 2 mL of bacteriostatic water is 2.5 mg/mL. A 250 mcg dose is 0.25 ÷ 2.5 = 0.1 mL — 10 units on any U-100 syringe.

One rule the calculator will not bend: mass and IU never mix. mcg and mg measure weight; IU measures biological activity, and compounds like HCG, HGH and HMG are labelled and dosed in IU only. If your vial is in IU and your dose is in mg, there is no honest conversion — so rather than guess, the calculator asks you to state both the same way.

Why syringe size matters

All standard insulin syringes use the same U-100 scale, but the barrel length differs: a 0.3 mL syringe spreads 30 units across the whole barrel, a 0.5 mL spreads 50, and a 1 mL spreads 100. The smaller the syringe, the farther apart the markings — and the easier a small draw is to hit precisely. A 10-unit draw is a third of a 0.3 mL barrel but a tenth of a 1 mL one. Pick the smallest syringe your draw fits in; the calculator warns you when it doesn't fit and tells you which size will.
